KBS has released the characters image posters this 18th of May. Let's check it out below:

Park Minyoung, playing as Shin Chae Kyeong who later became Queen Dangyeong.

Yeon Woo Jin who plays as Lee Yeok aka Prince Jinseong who later became King Jungjong.

Lee Donggun as Lee Yoong who later becomes King Yeongsangun.

Queen for 7 days is based on a true-story of King Jungjong and Queen Dangyeong who was crowned and dethroned after 7 days.

This new K-drama premieres on May 31.

Shin, a woman who sat on the queen's throne for 7 days, making it the shortest time frame in history for any queen. The story will revolve around her being the queen, as well as her romance with the crown prince. 

Premieres 31st of May at 10pm KST.
